Aspiring To Be The Best At What We Do

Our Story

musiCare was launched in October 2013 with the aim of providing affordable professional entertainment in care homes and day centres across South Wales.
A small team of two artistes and one admin began what was to be a remarkable journey that has seen the business develop into a thriving and successful company which enjoys an excellent reputation.
The coverage area has grown to include Herefordshire and Gloucestershire and with the recent removal of the toll booths will possibly include the Bristol area too at some point in the future.
Currently (2019) musiCare has Three Admins, Fifteen Professional Artistes, A  Pet Therapy Practitioner and Two Professional Harpists. The plan is to maintain this number of artistes this year to provide variety and high quality entertainment over a selected area. musiCare now has a waiting list of professional artistes wanting to join the team.
musiCare values its personal touch and so will always limit the number of artistes it has on board to ensure a high quality service to its customers.
musiCare proprietors Michael and Natalie became Dementia Champions in 2018. All musiCare artistes and staff are Dementia Friends. This is also an ongoing requirement for any new artistes that join us.

An Idea is Born

Back in 2013 the idea of providing high class entertainment and therapies at reasonable cost was the main reason for creating musiCare.
With a background of raising a daughter with Cerebral Palsy, Business Ownership, Theatre and Music Performances and a keen desire to improve the quality of life for a large section of the population, Michael Clutton (pictured right) created musiCare along with Natalie Webb (Pictured Below)
Natalie has significantly developed and transformed the admin side of the business so that it runs efficiently and smoothly. Since helping form the business back in 2013 there is now a robust system in place that schedules artistes performances, delivers posters and invoices for every performance to each care home/day centre, provides contracts for artistes and helps control all admin and finance aspects of musiCare.

Hundreds Of Satisfied Customers

Having worked successfully together in business before musiCare, Michael and Natalie built a business based upon quality, reliability and personal service.
The business was such a success that it quickly expanded into South West England and saw an influx of nearly 50 artistes on board.
Whilst this was an indication of a highly acclaimed company, it was felt that this was at the expense of quality and the vital personal touch.
It was subsequently decided that musiCare would return to its South Wales and The Borders base and decrease the number of artistes significantly. This would ensure that personal service would be resumed and the all important excellence of performance would return.
musiCare has hundreds of satisfied clients which is illustrated in the Testimonials section of our website.

Carole Owen - Admin Support

Carole joined musiCare's busy office staff in 2018 to provide admin support for the business. As musiCare continues to develop and become even more successful, this is a key role which helps support care home activities teams, day centre managers and musiCare staff and artistes alike. Back office support is essential for busy care home staff and Carole takes care of providing posters, invoicing and email confirmations as well as providing artiste contracts. Her efficient contribution is vital to the smooth running of the business and we would not be without her.
